When I was around 4 years old I would write my name on the wall with my colorful crayons “CH4D.” Ever since then it’s naturally been my signature. I was raised with a VHS camcorder in my face for as long as I can remember; as soon as I began recording on my own I immediately found my love and passion for the digital arts. Years of analog recording and tape to tape editing later I developed my craft with a bmx/skate videographer style. Ever since then it has been my objective to communicate key messages, share life changing moments and preserve stories through the media of audio, photography and cinema.
I’ve played a key creative role in nationally broadcast programs, feature length documentaries, national commercials, public service announcements and corporate videos. I have served on crews large and small as a DP, gaffer, grip, jib operator, teleprompter operator, script supervisor, audio engineer and data wrangler. In the post production realm I’ve lead teams as an online editor, motion designer, colorist and dvd author.
